John Goodman is so awesome. He’s probably one of my favorite actors. I’m glad to see him in a lot of movies lately.
Yesterday was so much fun! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter did not disappoint. Jurassic Park was sweet. The Incredible Hulk ride was probably one of the best coasters I’ve been on. Realizations
I forgot my iPod today, so I’ve been listening to my Billy Joel station on Pandora, which has led me to realize two things that may well change my life. The first is that I need to start a high-energy, oldies style band. The second is that “Take On Me” may well be my favorite song of all time. I need to make a mix that is just every version I can find of that song.

Molecular Gastronomy
Tonight, Karen, Joe, and I had dinner at Moto. It was absolutely unlike anything I have ever experienced before. They had flavored menus that we used instead of seaweed to make our own sushi rolls. This morning, I had a beautiful moment.
Today was my first day of student teaching. I showed up early, nervous as can be, and as I walked around the building, I met a bow-tied older gentleman who asked if I knew how to get into the building. My boyfriend tweeted me asking me to high five an astronaut if I could… …so I did. Astronaut Douglas H. Wheelock (aka “Wheels”) of STS 120 - was kind enough to high five me in front of the launch pad. I love NASA!
